This is a large affiliate network with numerous advertisers. You have to apply to the individual advertisers (you can do it from the BeFree website by simply clicking a button after your initial application) to participate in each program. Unlike some other affiliate networks, BeFree sometimes only acts as an intermediary that tracks clicks and does the front-end reporting to you. Since they do not issue the check themselves, it may take longer to accumulate enough money before you get paid, as compared to a network that pools the income made from the individual advertisers.

The amount is deducted from your account with them, and if your account drops to zero, it will be automatically closed.
